Bittersweet Emails That Make Our Day
We got an email recently that made us stop and smile—one of those bittersweet notes that hits you right in the heart.
In case you can’t read the note above, see the below:
Joni, Shivonna, Rosie + Breezy Team,
I wanted to share the bittersweet news that i'll be wrapping up my time at ____ on June 1st. The past six years have been an incredible journey, and I'm so grateful to have found such a kind, thoughtful, white glove partner in Breezy. I still remember how stressful it was to find a new cleaning company before my six month mark, and your team stepped in and made the entire process seamless as we grew from half the floor to where we are today.
Going forward, everything will continue to operate as usual _____ will continue to be your main points of contact I know the relationship is in good hands
I'll be sure to let Rosie know when I see her Friday, but if you don't mind giving her a heads up as well, I'd appreciate it.
Thank you again for everything and I hope we stay in touch.
A longtime client we’ve worked with for years is moving on to a new chapter in her life. She let us know (as gracefully and thoughtfully as ever) that June 1st would be her last day at the company we’ve been cleaning since—well, back when they only had half a floor.
We still remember the moment she found us. It was one of those all-too-familiar NYC stories: the stress of trying to replace a cleaning vendor that wasn’t working out, with a million other fires to put out, and a fast-growing office that couldn’t afford a misstep. She brought us in during a hectic time, and we did what we do best—listen, show up, and take something off her plate.
Over the years, we’ve watched the space grow. We’ve been there through the move-ins, the desk shuffles, the early-morning walkthroughs, the schedule tweaks. We’ve seen that team expand and evolve, and behind the scenes, she’s always been the steady hand making sure it all ran smoothly.
To hear her describe us as a “kind, thoughtful, white-glove partner” meant more than she probably realized. Because that’s exactly what we aim to be—not just a cleaning company, but a trusted presence. A reliable constant. The quiet part of the team that makes everything else feel a little easier.
She signed off her note with, “I hope we stay in touch.”
And we will.
We’re grateful for her trust, her professionalism, and the partnership we’ve built over the years. Transitions like these remind us that our work isn’t just about floors and glass and checklists—it’s about relationships. It’s about showing up, consistently, and being the kind of company people want to keep in touch with.
To our longtime friend: thank you. We’ll take good care of the space—and we’re wishing you all the best as you head into your next adventure. And once again: we can’t thank you enough for the kind words.
With heart,
The Breezy Team
